Neuropsychological Evaluations in NYC
Comprehensive testing for autism, ADHD, and learning disabilities. Get clarity on what's happening—and what to do about it.
A pediatrician, teacher, or therapist said you should "get a neuropsych eval." But what does that actually mean? And how do you know which type of evaluation you need?
We specialize in neuropsychological evaluations for neurodevelopmental conditions in children, teens, and adults throughout New York.
Understanding Neuropsychological Testing
Neuropsychological evaluation is comprehensive testing that maps how your (or your child's) brain processes information, learns, remembers, focuses, and solves problems. It goes beyond observation or screening—it provides detailed answers and a roadmap for support.

2
Intake, Interviews & Data Gathering
This phase includes a detailed intake process with interviews and record reviews. We may speak with caregivers, teachers, or other key individuals and review school, medical, or previous testing records.

Combining multiple perspectives ensures a thorough understanding of strengths and challenges.
3
Testing
During testing, we evaluate key areas such as cognitive functioning, memory, attention, language skills, academic performance, and emotional regulation. Using evidence-based tools, we tailor the evaluation to meet each individual’s unique needs. The process is structured to be comprehensive yet comfortable for all ages.
4
Feedback & Recommendations
The final step is a detailed feedback session where we explain results in clear, practical terms.
